GLAMOR AFAIKO: THE TALENT, FOCUS AND SUCCESS STORY




Pretty, Young and Talented Miss Glamor Afaiko 

The value of a name comes to life in the story of one of Nollywood's most talented and beautiful actress. Miss Glamor Afaiko is a native of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria.The 24 year old actress said she started acting when she was just 9 years old. Haven taken part in acting at school and Church, she said she never really imagined that she would one day become a full time actress/celebrity. Glamor says her initial career choice was to become a legal practitioner or television presenter.

The pretty princess of Nollywood revealed to leisure quest that she took up full time acting at the age of 20. The decision however did not go down well with her mom who was scared for the safety of her daughter knowing that acting involved traveling to far and sometimes strange places. To the concerned mom, she was not going to risk having strangers possibly taking advantage of her daughter who she believed should first get a university degree before delving into the movie industry.

Glamor was lucky to have been discovered by a kind hearted movie director who discovered her talent and took the young brilliant star under his wing. At present Miss Glamor Afaiko has worked on mega movie projects with Frank Rajah, Emem Isong, Great Movies Productions and currently signed on to Inner Strength Productions owned by Sedater Saviour.

Glamor Afaiko delivered ovation rendering performances in blockbuster movies such as: 

i.     Delilah by frank rajah 
ii.    Ayamma by Emem isong
iii.   Stolen lives
iv.   kindom of kings
v.    Missing Princess by sedater saviour
vi.   My wife's Sister
vii.  The Broken Sceptre and many more.



Glamor takes fashion to new heights in her everyday outfits on and off screen


On her guiding words to the upcoming generation of actors, Glamor says they must develop their innate talents in those areas they are good at. The younger generation should also realise that hard work pays off in the end by bringing forth success. She furthers admonishes the young ones to stay focussed ad do what they love doing. 

Glamor says she will own a fashion line someday because she loves fashion so much.


On her social orientation, Glamor Afaiko says she doesn't judge a book by it's cover. The blooming actress who earned roles in on-going movie projects such as Adaugo, Aymma, While You Slept and Chronicles of Mmachi, says she loves fashion and her favorite music acts are Beyonce and Brandy. Her favorite sporting events are Basket Ball and Golf.

Leisure Quest asked the actress what her general views about life are. In her response she said: "Life is like a Camera Lens and You must focus on what is important and you will capture it perfectly well. All you have to do is set your priorities correctly.

Glamor says she dreams of visiting Paris in France, Atlanta Georgia in the USA and China. Among other places she has been to, her favourites are South Africa, Dubai and Ghana. 

On her her future plans, the outstanding Glamor Afaiko says she is working hard so that one day she will become a living legend. She also see's herself as getting married soon and having kids. She exclaims "there is so much i want to do for example i would love to own a media company and at the same time start a fashion line because i love fashion. I guess we will just have to wait and see"

Leisure Quest asked Glamor who her role models are and she replied: "Angelina Jolie and my Mom".

On a final note not the talented Glamor Afaiko said that: "Life is always about ups and downs, you don"t always be at the top but you won't always be at the bottom too, for life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It is learning how to dance in the rain".
