We sought her views about the current issues and challenges in the acting profession. Her reply was: “for an upcoming actress, getting an accommodation in a movie location isn't really an easy thing. Yeah you have to tackle that especially in locations you don't even know, that can be frustrating”. On the bright side, Ella says the industry is a goldmine larger than the sky, thus there is room to accommodate as many raw talents that are determined to shine. She believes she too will scale through on that pedestal and do timeless movies that must have societal value and impact driven too and not just entertainment based.

The actress says some cinematography movies are doing well, an example of which is “DRY” by Stephanie Linus. The movie x-rays the plight of the girl child that is forced into under aged marriage such as is most common in the northern part of Nigeria. Another movie that Ella says is a world class production is Kunle Afolyan’s “OCTOBER 1ST”, a powerful telling the Nigerian story from the boiling point of truth and from the Nigerian Perspective. Ella says she hopes to work with iconic stars that she admires because of their bedazzling talents. There is a whole lot coming and Ella Pinky believes that with God on her side, the sky will be her stepping stone.
