The serene city of Calabar is getting agog with all hands on deck towards a successful 4th outing of the prestigious Cross River Movie Awards (CRMA) scheduled to hold on the 11th of December 2016 at the Pearl Ball Room, Transcorp Hotel, Calabar. The event begins with Movie Carpet at 6.00pm while the main Award Ceremony commences at 8.00pm.
The Initiator of the annual event, Hon.
Eric Anderson has promised that the 2016 edition of CRMA holds a lot of pleasant surprises that will make every minute an exciting moment. All the big names in the movie industry will be attending the ceremony to show their support for the award nominees and recipients alike. A lot of these big time players in the entertainment industry like Pete
Edochie & Liz Benson will be presented with LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT awards while MERIT AWARDS will be presented to Kunle Afolayan,
Segun Arinze, Fred Amata and Bimbo Akintola.

ii. INDIGENOUS FILMS
&
iii. SHORT FILMS.
While speaking with leisure quest entertainment magazine, Hon. Anderson disclosed that the event has limited quantity of tickets available, these are currently on sale at the Transcorp Hotel, Calabar, and there may be a few remaining seats/tickets on sale at the venue on the actual day of the event. years experience in stage and film production. He was Chairman of the
Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cross River state chapter 2011 - 2013, Deputy Band
Leader of Seagul Band 2013 - 2015 also Crowd coordinator for the Film Half of a
Yellow sun 2012. He is currently the special Assistant to the Governor of Cross
River State on Tourism. He is a veteran actor, with rich experience in the
field of organizational communication.
