For some time now a young Nigerian based in Canada has been taking the social media by storm with his short movie clips and magical comedies on YouTube, ticktok and Instagram.
The talented young Nigerian plays dual roles in his videos. All special effects are drafted and created by him too. Fans say this is one guy the world must watch out for as his videos keeps his audience glued to their screens
In a recent post he had this to say:
"Anyone who knows me knows that making films has been a passion of mine forever.
In the past 6 years I have been given unbelievable opportunities to grow as a writer and filmmaker. I’ve written, directed, edited and produced 5 feature length films on my own, with the latter three receiving film festival screenings and even winning a top award!
From making long-form independent features on my own—with next to NO budget and relying on my own creativity, ingenuity and an AMAZINGLY supportive community—I transitioned to film school where I have been able to fine-tune my craft in preparation for larger-scale, more professional projects".
Tope Babalola currently has over 1.6 million followers on Tiktok with over 6 million views till date.
